President Trump’s threat to send federal law enforcement into Detroit is deeply disturbing, John.

Trump is once again choosing to spread hateful rhetoric and attempting to suppress the voices of those he doesn't agree with.

Detroiters are peacefully protesting the systemic racism and discrimination that Black Americans face every day -- and there is no reason to send federal troops.

If the president actually wants to help the people of Michigan, he can start by telling the Republican-controlled Senate to pass the HEROES Act.

We must work to help Michiganders, not tear each other apart.
