This comes as the U.S. has carried out military strikes in the Pacific and announced a blockade of sanctioned oil tankers involving Venezuela, escalating tensions in the region without congressional approval.

She was clear about one thing: no president gets to launch military action or put our Guard in harm’s way without authorization from Congress. That’s the law. And our Constitution doesn’t take the holidays off. Neither should accountability .
