Europe Just Said “HELL YES” to Abortion Access
While the U.S. continues speedrunning a policy dumpster fire, Europe just pulled off a massive abortion win. After more than ONE MILLION people signed onto a citizens’ initiative called “My Voice, My Choice,” the European Parliament backed a serious, grown-up plan to expand abortion access across borders.

Because the EU is currently a chaotic patchwork of abortion laws, this plan would be a game-changer for people trapped under brutal bans in places like Poland and Malta—letting them get FREE care in countries that understand abortion for what it is: ESSENTIAL HEALTHCARE. Prost, Europa! No notes.

The final decision lands in March, when the European Commission votes on whether to make it official.

Meanwhile, We Keep Losing Independent Clinics
New data paints a grim picture for abortion infrastructure in the U.S.: independent clinics–the backbone of abortion care–continue shuttering at an alarming rate, shrinking the safety net for patients, especially later in pregnancy. These clinics deliver more than half of all abortions and nearly all later-term care. But between 2022 and 2025, dozens closed their doors — meaning fewer places to go, longer travel distances, higher costs, and in some states only one provider remains.

Let’s be clear: independent clinic closures = forced births for people who can’t find care. It’s more vital than EVER to support your local indie clinic with your time and money.

Whew—this year feels like it's been a damn lifetime. If there is anything 2025 has really highlighted, it’s that our collective liberation is bound together, and the only way out of this mess is to lock arms and defend each other. Whether its abortion, trans and queer rights, immigration, education… literally anything that isn’t cis, white, male, and straight—they’re coming after all of us, and we’ll be damned if we don’t join together and fight the fuck back.

So take some time to rest and recharge, because the fight is starting anew and we’re doing this all together!
