Geeta's day begins at 4 AM with household chores such as grinding seeds and grains and cleaning animal sheds. Afterward, she works 12 backbreaking hours in construction carrying bricks and cement on her head — earning only 7 cents a day. And still, despite her work, Geeta did not have enough money to feed her children.

Today, thanks to the gift of goats (from a generous Heifer supporter like you!) and lots of hard work, Geeta's family is thriving.
