Dear 350Brooklyn Members,

As we close out 2025, 350Brooklyn would like to recognize that this has been a very difficult year for our country. Our democracy, our justice system and our immigrant neighbors have been attacked as never before. The Trump regime has cut 90% of funding for wind and solar and there have been more than 300 executive orders to undo protections for our water, air, agriculture, wildlife and more, rolling back decades of legislation. This has made fighting for justice and a livable world feel harder than ever.

BUT in the face of this… we have been able to strengthen and use the community we’ve built with each other to continue to fight hard and effectively on many fronts, and to make a difference in both city and state arenas. This year we celebrated our 10th Anniversary of building local climate power in Brooklyn and helped to elect a strong climate advocate in Zohran Mamdani as NYC Mayor.
