Email from Zionist Organization of America December 2025 / Cheshvan 5786 A MESSAGE FROM ZOA NATIONAL PRESIDENT MORTON A. KLEIN Dear Fellow Zionist, As a Jew who loves and is committed to defending the Jewish state and the Jewish people, I am deeply concerned. I’m worried about my grandchildren and children facing dangerous Jew-hatred and Israel bashing in their elementary schools, high schools and colleges. I’m worried about attacks on our synagogues, Jewish institutions, Israel events at universities, and on Jews wearing yarmulkas and Jewish stars. I’m worried about the increasing numbers of Congress members, public figures, academics and media promoting the vilest lies and hatred against Israel and Jews, with virtually no consequences. You may well be feeling the same. But I assure you, as head of the Zionist Organization of America and the great warriors who work at the ZOA, we are fighting back. When I think of ZOA, I think of an organization that refuses to compromise on the truth regardless of prevailing fashion. The ZOA is a xxxxxx in the defense of Israel. I urge you to support the ZOA and its efforts on behalf of Israel. Benjamin Netanyahu Prime Minister of Israel ZOA practically single-handedly successfully fought to change the interpretation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act so that Jewish students who are harassed and discriminated against at elementary schools, high schools and universities are protected under the law. ZOA filed the first Title VI case that the federal government investigated to safeguard Jewish students at the University of California-Irvine. ZOA’s Center for Law and Justice, headed by Susan Tuchman, Esq., has filed and continues to file numerous such cases, as our phones are ringing off the hook to help Jewish students. We have also filed complaints and worked to protect Jewish educators whose unions are promoting and adopting policies that are antisemitic and anti-Israel. Mort, I want to publicly acknowledge that you and ZOA have been right about everything. Michael Oren Former Israeli Ambassador to the United States ZOA Campus, headed by Jonathan Ginsburg, has hired more campus professionals to teach college students how to fight back and respond effectively to the dangerous lies spread by radical Muslims and other Jew-haters. ZOA teaches students the truth about the Arab-Islamic war against Israel and the West. We give the students confidence, information and training – the ammunition they need to stand up for Jews and Israel. ZOA’s Government Relations Department, headed by Dan Pollak, has increased our number of lobbyists on Capitol Hill to educate members of Congress and fight for our people, our ancient homeland, and strong U.S.-Israel relations. We were the leading organization to successfully campaign for legislation to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. We also led numerous effective initiatives opposing official appointments when the candidates had a record of hostility toward Israel. We regularly appear on television and radio, speak at conferences, write op-eds, and lecture throughout the country. ZOA is frequently quoted in the media, including the New York Times, Washington Post, AP, Jerusalem Post and numerous Jewish and other newspapers. Mort Klein shows what real leadership is. There are a very select, few Jewish nonprofits that amplify the voices of Jewish students. In that, ZOA stands alone. Shabbos Kestenbaum Renowned student activist who filed a major lawsuit against Harvard University for allowing antisemitism on campus Most recently, I spoke at the JNS conference in Jerusalem, the Israel Hayom conference in New York City, the Rage Against Hate conference in New York City, and the Esther Project combatting antisemitism conference in Washington, D.C., along with Ambassador Mike Huckabee and Christian Zionist leaders Pastor Tony Perkins and Ralph Reed. ZOA understands your legitimate concerns. We share them. And we will not stop until we defeat our enemies. Deep appreciation for Morton Klein, the tireless president of ZOA. Few have fought harder for Israel and the Jewish people. Thank you for your steadfast advocacy and moral courage!” Leo Terrell, Esq. Chair, Department of Justice Task Force on Antisemitism G-d promised that Israel and the Jewish people are eternal. And unlike politicians, G-d keeps his promises. We will win. We will prevail. ZOA is fighting for you, your children and your grandchildren, and Israel, as we have been since 1897. During this dangerous time of crisis, we ask you to generously support the Zionist Organization of America. Whether it’s $25 or $50 or $100 or $1000 or $5000 or more, every donation is meaningful and helpful in our fight together against those who wish us ill. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting ZOA, strengthening ZOA, and inspiring the ZOA professionals whom we proudly call our Maccabee warriors. With great appreciation, Morton A.
