Klein will be discussing the fact that 16 Jewish leaders irrationally and viciously attacked Klein for exposing the antisemitic Israel-hating policies of the organization Black Lives Matter. BLM calls Israel a genocidal apartheid state and supports BDS.
The Jewish leaders who attacked Mort Klein include: the top leaders of the Reform (Rabbi Rick Jacobs) and Conservative Jewish Movements; Robert Aaronson of HIAS (a tiny proportion of the refugees they help are Jewish, while they’ve defended and praised Jew-hater and Israel-hater Linda Sarsour, and while working with tainted groups such as Islamic Relief USA and CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations); Ken Bob of Ameinu; and Sheila Katz of National Council of Jewish Women and Americans for Peace Now. The New Israel Fund, J St., and T’ruah have also condemned Klein for daring to expose the BLM group’s antisemitic platform.
Mort Klein has been defended by Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz (who said he would defend Klein/ZOA legally and politically) as well as Caroline Glick, Melanie Phillips, Jonathan Tobin, Daniel Greenfield, and others.
