2026-27 FSC Board of Directors Announced
The Free Speech Coalition congratulates the re-elected members of the FSC Board of Directors:
* FSC Board Chair Jeffrey Douglas (Attorney)
* FSC Board Treasurer Cathy Beardsley (President, SegPay)
* FSC Board Vice President Scott Watkins (VP Sales and Marketing, Doc Johnson)
* Steven Grooby (Founder, Grooby Productions)
* Constance Penley (Professor, UC Santa Barbara)
* Jamie Rodriguez
* Megan Stokes (Partner, NMG Management)
In addition to those winning re-election, David Eliason, owner of the retail chain Dick & Jane’s Naughty Spot won a seat on the Board, filling a spot previously held by Lucy Hart. Eliason also serves on the leadership committee of the Sexual Wellness Professionals Alliance ( [link removed] ).
“At a time when our industry and our rights are under attack, FSC is lucky to have such a dedicated and experienced Board,” said Alison Boden, Executive Director of Free Speech Coalition. “Our Board members are a vital part of our organization, helping to shape policy, raise funds and engage with our industry. FSC Statement on OCC Debanking Report
The US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a federal banking regulator, released a report ( [link removed] ) outlining the preliminary findings ( [link removed] ) of its review of debanking activity by the largest national banks. The OCC found that these banks maintained policies that restricted or denied access to banking services to nine industry sectors, including adult entertainment, in apparent violation of the President’s Executive Order ( [link removed] ) barring banking discrimination against those engaged in lawful business activities.
