Turning Point USA Endorses JD Vance for President



Turning Point USA is all-in on JD Vance.

Erika Kirk announced the organization’s plan to throw its weight behind the
vice president in the 2028 election on Thursday, telling TPUSA’s AmericaFest
crowd, “We are going to get my husband’s friend JD Vance elected for 48 in the
most resounding way possible.” If elected, Vance would become America’s 48th
president.

The Republican Party is filled with fake conservatives. Politicians like Ted
Cruz and Lindsey Graham alwayspretend they’re America First during campaign
season, but once they’re in office, they work tooth and nail to put foreign
interests ahead of ours. The results have been devastating.

The VP is different. When JD says he’s America First, he really means it. We

Brown University Shooting Suspect Found Dead


Authorities have identified the suspect in last weekend’s Brown University
shooting, naming 48-year-old Claudio Manuel Neves-Valente as the accused
culprit. They also believe he is responsible for the murder of an MIT nuclear
scientist days later.

Officials announced the discovery of Neves-Valente’s dead body on Thursday
after finding his corpse with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Brown shooting claimed the lives of two undergraduate students and injured
at least nine others. Professor Nuno Loureiro was the lone victim of the second
attack, which took place roughly 50 miles outside Boston.

Neves-Valente was a Portuguese national who studied physics at Brown in 2000
and 2001. His motive remains unclear, according to Providence’s mayor.Read more

No More Tax Dollars for Child Sex Changes


RFK Jr. denounced “chemical and surgical sex-rejecting procedures” for minors
on Thursday, announcing a ban on taxpayer funding for doctors conducting them.

“So-called gender-affirming care has inflicted lasting physical and
psychological damage on vulnerable young people,” he said. “This is not
medicine — it is malpractice. We’re done with junk science driven by
ideological pursuits, not the well-being of children.”

We were surprised to hear Kennedy use the phrase “gender-affirming care” in
the first place. What these “medical procedures” really are is sex changes.
Mutilating children. Chopping off their genitals. The blunter the language we
use, the more likely the public will realize the horror of these “operations.”

If any part of you is regretting voting for Donald Trump, we hope this story
helps put you at ease. Common-sense decisions like Kennedy’s would never have
happened under a Harris administration. We’re glad we avoided one.Read more

Democrats Block 2024 Election Autopsy Release



Democrats are uniquely skilled at exposing their own incompetence. This story
is the latest example.

The DNC is going back on its promise to release its formal review of the 2024
election, saying that revealing what went wrong last time would be a
“distraction” from helping the party win going forward. DNC Chair Ken Martin
announced the decision on Thursday.

“In our conversations with stakeholders from across the Democratic ecosystem,
we are aligned on what’s important, and that’s learning from the past and
winning the future,” he said. “Here’s our North Star: does this help us win? If
the answer is no, it’s a distraction from the core mission.”

Martin is dead wrong. The Democrat Party historically botched the 2024
election, and if we were liberal voters, we would wantsome proof that its
leaders have learned from their mistakes. Instead, those at the top of the DNC
are embracing the same “oh come on, just trust us” attitude that led to their
defeat last year. We don’t know how they expect grassroots Americans to have
confidence in them.Read more

Illegal Immigrant Arrested for Murder One Day After Jail Release



Police arrested an El Salvadoran illegal immigrant for allegedly murdering a
Virginia man inside the victim’s home on Wednesday. The crime occurred less
than 48 hours after the accused culprit last got out of jail.

Authorities released 23-year-old Marvin Morales-Ortez from custody on Tuesday
after prosecutors dropped charges stemming from a gun-brandishing and assault
case. Morales-Ortez had reportedly been charged with at least seven crimes in
Fairfax County since 2020, and ICE says he is in our country illegally.

The killing comes amid a broader state fight over whether state and local law
enforcement should cooperate with federal immigration authorities.
Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger, who will assume office next month, plans to
rescind Glenn Youngkin’s executive order requiring Virginia agencies to
cooperate with ICE.

This story raises a simple question: Why the hell is Morales-Ortez in the

Qatar Holds Flurry of Meetings with Trump Officials


If you listened to Mark Levin, you’d probably believe that anyone who
interacts with Qatar is a Jew-hating terrorist sympathizer. But it isn’t true.
The Trump administration has a great relationship with the Qataris. They work
togetherall the time.

Qatari officials have been in contact with the U.S. government even more than
usual this week, with the country’s prime minister traveling to Washington for
back-to-back meetings with JD Vance and Marco Rubio.

The Vance meeting centered around “the strong, strategic bilateral relations
between the State of Qatar and the US, as well as the means to enhance them,”
while the Rubio summit revolved around “opportunities to deepen cooperation on
shared economic and strategic goals in the Middle East and across the world.”

Neocons will never tell you this, but Qatar is America’s greatest ally in its
region. Our country’s largest Middle Eastern military base is on its soil, and
President Trump granted the Qataris a NATO-style security guarantee earlier

Trump Designates Christmas Eve, December 26th as Federal Holidays



No one wants to go to work the day after Christmas. Thanks to Donald Trump,
more Americans than ever may not have to.

The president signed an executive order declaring December 24th and 26th
federal holidays on Thursday, giving federal government workers a five-day
weekend following next Tuesday. The change does not apply to state or local
governments, nor to private employees.

Financial markets would not automatically follow the federal calendar,
although the stock market tends to close at 1 PM on Christmas Eve. Bond markets
are similarly unaffected, as the Securities Industry and Financial Markets
Association does not always observe federal holidays.Read more

This Day in History


December 19, 1941: Hitler takes command of the German army. Amid Germany’s
unsuccessful offensive against Moscow, the Chancellor declared himself
commander-in-chief as his military weathered a brutal winter retreat. Hitler
refused to accept the notion that the myth of German invincibility was broken,
so he removed officers who oversaw failed operations in Russia from their
commands. The move yielded short-term success, with the Germans reversing their
retreat and pushing further north toward Stalingrad, but it eventually proved
disastrous when the 6th Army suffered its final defeat in 1943. Hitler remained
in charge of Germany’s military until 1945.Read more
