Hello All,
My name is Alyssa Gonzales Specht, I am the Director of Florida Election Day Operations
for the Trump Campaign. My 2020 FL EDO Plan has three prongs: Recruit, Educate,
and Empower.
Recruit: Poll Workers, Poll Watchers, and Attorneys
Poll Workers are paid, hired, and trained by the local county supervisor of elections.
These individuals assist the supervisor of elections office in administering the

Poll Watchers are volunteers who represent a specific candidate or political party,
who go into a polling place and observe the administration of the election for the
candidate or political party. This person watches for any irregularities or violations
of election laws, and they are to politely and respectfully inform and report the
irregularity or violation to the supervisor of elections staff member (i.e. poll

Attorneys are there to assist and answer any questions poll watchers, candidates,
or volunteers may have during early voting and on election day. Poll watchers are
to report any irregularities or violations they observe to an attorney who is on
call. Should a recount be necessary, attorneys are essential in ensuring the recount

Educate
Throughout the next few months either in-person or video training opportunities
will be scheduled for those who will be volunteering to be a poll watcher or a volunteer
attorney. During these trainings specific training materials will be provided and
there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
Empower
Through the training sessions, training materials, and support from the campaign,
each volunteer will be empowered to report any irregularities or election law violations
to a supervisor of elections staff member and the campaign or political party's
attorneys on call.
