As the leader of Wildlands Network’s California program, I have the privilege of working with my incredible team toward outcomes like these each day.
This past year, in California alone, we’ve crunched the data with partners to identify 6 new priority sites for highway safe passage structures that connect the highway safe passage structures that connect the Sierra Nevada mountains to the Great Basin, launched a new collaborative effort to map border crossing priorities for bighorn sheep and protect wildlife corridors along the U.S.-Mexico border, and kicked off a legislative campaign to get California’s regional transportation agencies to do their part to protect wildlife on our roads.
My teammates across the U.S. and Mexico are pursuing similar, impactful projects. All of us are deeply committed to realizing our Wildway vision, thanks to your continued support.
