My opponent, Republican Senator Pete Ricketts, and his billionaire daddy and corporate buddies are spending millions of dollars against me already in Nebraska’s Senate race.

They’re spending this big this early because in 2024, Nebraska was one of the closest Senate races in the country. We almost won. Now, Ricketts is hoping he can buy his way to reelection – and the only way we’ll be able to win is if we also go up on the air and begin to counter the lies with our own ads.

I’m still working as a pipe fitter while running for Senate. Unlike Pete Ricketts, I can’t just ask my dad or corporations for a blank check – I need your help to run ads to keep gaining momentum in Nebraska.

I’m making this bet because we simply have to. Working-class people deserve a seat at the table, not a billionaire trust kid “representative” who only does the bidding of corporations. So I made the decision and took the risk that folks like you would come through and donate to help fill our $100,000 budget hole…

It’s not going to be easy to take on a billionaire senator like Pete Ricketts and win. But the polling shows this race as tight as it could possibly be – so we’re going to have to take a few risks if we’re going to win.
