We’ve secured the signatures needed on bipartisan legislation to force a vote to extend critical health care tax credits that are set to expire.

The problem? Speaker Johnson—Washington’s own Ebenezer Scrooge—has shut down the House until at least the new year.

His holiday “gift” to the 22 million Americans who rely on the Affordable Care Act: soaring health care premiums.

That’s unacceptable.

I’m standing with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to demand an immediate vote. Families already struggling with the rising cost of groceries, gas, housing, and child care cannot afford to wait one more day.
