I saw this headline about my opponent and had to say something:
Wisconsin Examiner: US Rep Tom Tiffany criticizes 'billionaire loophole' but voted for law that created it

This is typical of Washington politicians — voting one way and then reversing course once it becomes politically convenient. That’s exactly the kind of “leadership” that hurts Wisconsinites, putting special interests and billionaires first before working Wisconsinites. Can I count on you to chip in $15 or $27 to our grassroots campaign?

This “billionaire loophole” was passed over a decade ago. In 2015, the state legislature made monumental changes to our state’s campaign finance system, allowing unlimited money to influence our politics.

And unfortunately, we’ve seen the consequences of loopholes like these: billionaires are buying power and influence, while working families have to bear the burden.

The contrast in this race couldn’t be clearer. When push came to shove, Tiffany catered to special interests and outside donors instead of what was right for Wisconsin.

I support a political system that allows every Wisconsinite’s voice to be heard, not to be drowned out by out-of-state billionaires.

I’m asking you to join my campaign, where we are laser-focused on delivering for Wisconsin: lowering costs, expanding Badgercare, and ensuring everyone is represented fairly in our government.
