Dear john,

As I look back on another year in service to Georgia, I am so grateful for the opportunity to work on your behalf. This was, without a doubt, a very difficult year. Between the attacks on federal government programs and civil service employees, the longest government shutdown in history, and escalating efforts aimed at dividing the American people, it can be difficult to focus on what remains good and positive. That is why I wanted to share some of the brightest highlights of 2025 with you, so that you can remain optimistic about the work I was able to accomplish in the face of these challenges.

Here are some of my highlights by the numbers:

  • $30,000,000: The amount of federal grant awards that I have personally advocated for and written letters of support to federal agency leaders in Washington. I will continue to advocate my strong support for your tax dollars to come back home to Georgia and be invested in the progress of our community.
  • $10,000,000: The amount of federal benefits (Social Security, Veterans Affairs, IRS refunds, and more) that I have helped secure through our casework program. If you need help with a federal benefit, I hope you will call my office.
  • 61,000: That's how many pieces of feedback my offices received throughout the year. Whether you called with an opinion about what my colleagues and I were voting on, the Trump Administration, or any issue that was important to you, I value these calls, emails, and letters, and I look forward to more in the new year.
  • 7,400: The number of responses I sent to constituents about legislative concerns. I strive to keep the lines of communication open in my office, and I was pleased to write back to so many of you who contacted my office.
  • 1,396: The number of cases my casework team in Atlanta has resolved. No matter what sort of federal problems you have, my team is always ready to step in and advocate on your behalf.
  • 74: Editions of this newsletter sent with updates about our work in Congress and in Georgia.

While I am so pleased to report facts and figures, the most important part of my job is you and your family. Advocating for the things you care about in Washington will remain my top priority in the new year, and I hope you will continue to keep this line of communication open with me and my team. We are here to serve you in any way that we can.

Thank you for staying up to date with my office. I hope you and your loved ones remain healthy and safe during this season, and I look forward to keeping in touch in the new year.

If you require federal assistance of any kind, I encourage you to call my office at (470) 773-6330 or email me at mcbath.house.gov/email-me. For more local updates, please visit my social media platforms.
