For more than two years, rural Iowa has been dealing with the consequences of no Farm Bill. Everything from farm subsidies to crop insurance and rural development have been halted. The Farm Bill isn’t just about farmers. Tom Harkin said it best: “The Farm Bill is an economic stimulus package for rural America.”

To make matters even worse, Trump’s tariffs from this year have burdened our farm economy like never before.
