JOHN,
Nick Begich has a famous last name. In Alaska, that name used to mean independence. It used to mean fighting for the people against the powerful. But a last name can only get you so far once you start dragging it through the dirt.
He is not an independent voice; he is a rubber stamp for the Trump agenda and the corporate interests that are stripping Alaska for parts.
* During his campaign, Begich refused to answer the "Political Courage Test," dodging basic questions about where he stands on healthcare and the economy because he knows his answers suck and make him unelectable.
* He isn't just "pro-development." He is MUCH worse. He pushed for measures that would hand over the pristine Coastal Plain to his donors without a second thought for the local communities that live there.
* When given the chance to support the "Protect America's Workforce Act," he voted NAY. He talks a big game about Alaska jobs, but when it comes time to protect the people actually doing the work, he sides with the boardrooms in Houston and New York.
He is an empty suit who trades on his family name to sell out his state. Alaska deserves a representative, not a resource extraction lobbyist.
That’s why he’s on our list of seats to flip in 2026. Will you help bring accountability to the Trump regime and help us take our country back? [ [link removed] ]
