Dear John,
Our campaign released our first television ad today, and I wanted you to be the first to see it:
This ad, titled “Called to Serve,” focuses on Abigail’s record of public service and her commitment to serving the people of Central Virginia.
We have one of the most competitive races in the country, and the winner could come down to just a handful of votes. That’s why it’s crucial we get Abigail’s message to every last voter in VA-07.
Abigail has served the people of Central Virginia with integrity and always puts the needs of her constituents and her focus on solving problems first. She works across party lines to get things done. I am proud of her work, and we need to spread her ad far and wide to let others know her impact, too.
Can you make a contribution right now to help us show this ad to everyone across VA-07?
Our opponent and his allies will be spending millions against us on negative attack ads to try and drown out our message and cast doubt on Abigail’s record of service. Our victory in November is going to come down to whether Abigail’s hopeful message and record of focused, steady leadership is heard over the noise.
This campaign is focused on the critical issues that matter to Virginians, like rising healthcare and prescription drug costs, the reopening concerns of small businesses, and the need for expanded opportunity for the next generation.
At the core of our campaign is the belief that meaningful conversations – not extreme partisan attacks – are how we bring people into our campaign and how we’ll win this election. If you believe this too, will you make a contribution to our campaign today?
Thank you for your support,
Bettina
