Hey John,

You’ve been one of my top supporters this year. You’ve opened our emails, checked our social
media, and kept up with the progress of our movement. In today’s day and
age where your attention could be anywhere, it’s with us, and that means a
lot.

So, I wanted to send you a personal email before the end of the year
thanking you for everything you’ve done to power this movement this year.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I wouldn’t be here without all that
you’ve already done.

I also wanted to take this moment to urge you to support this movement one
last time before the end of the year. 

Growing up I watched my mom struggle to provide as a single mother for me
and my sisters after my dad was deported. I know the power of a dollar and
how far it can be stretched. With inflation, everything is more expensive
than ever before. I truly don’t take it lightly asking for a donation of
$1, or even $5 right now. 

I’m asking because I believe an investment in this movement now will pay
off dividends later. In 2025 especially, we’ve seen that campaigns just
like mine can win big and usher in change. 

We refuse to take a dime of AIPAC, special interest, fossil fuel, or Super
PAC money. That’s because I believe that a people-powered and
people-focused campaign can win. 

We can win housing for all, healthcare for all, immigration reform and
community advocacy, and more. 

Let’s do it together. We can achieve a Los Angeles we can all be proud of.
