Friend,

As we approach the end of the year, I know you must be receiving a lot of messages from candidates across the country. While the upcoming final FEC deadline of the year is important for our race, right now I want to share what I’ve been up to in IL-13 this past month.

This is why I’m in Congress -- to connect with Illinoisans and take their concerns back to Washington so I can fight for them. Right now, we’re days away from ACA premiums skyrocketing, and the affordability crisis is only getting worse.

I’m taking these issues to heart. Your continued support means everything as we push forward into the midterm election year.

Thank you,

Nikki

I was proud to stand arm-in-arm with Granite City steelworkers to demand better from U.S. Steel -- we put on the pressure and reinstated 400+ jobs, keeping this important manufacturing work local.

I was honored to deliver the 2025 Morton-Kenney Public Affairs Lecture, hosted by the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois University. I shared experience from my internship for Senator Simon to my work in Congress supporting working families and the importance of strengthening Illinois’ economy.

I had a great time with students from the University of Illinois to discuss my work in Congress to lower costs and undo the cuts Trump made in the Big Ugly Bill that hurt them. Keeping young people involved in our politics is crucial.

I am honored to share that I have received the endorsement of the Illinois AFL-CIO. As a union member myself, I understand the importance of making sure that hard work leads to a good life -- and I’m leading the charge in Congress.

Coming back to the district is what powers my work in Washington. As we look toward the election year, my resolve is only strengthened for the fights ahead -- rising ACA premiums, the growing affordability crisis, and attacks on working families and our democracy.

If you’re with me, I’d really appreciate your support with a $3 donation today.

Thank you -- and more to come,

Nikki
