We always work to educate lawmakers, but now (as it becomes more likely that gun violence prevention legislation will pass), it's more important than ever that they are empowered to bring forward the strongest possible versions of the lifesaving bills they introduce.

Increase coordination with partners focused on suicide prevention, civic engagement, and racial justice. Aligning our efforts carefully across these areas amplifies our collective power.

Continue to stand up for evidence-based solutions, such as expanding background checks and instituting an extreme risk law. Over 80% of Wisconsinites support these measures — there is no excuse for our lack of these lifesaving laws.
