I am excited to announce Sunrise’s 5th endorsement of the year, Rep. Chris Rabb in Pennsylvania's 3rd Congressional District! My name is Sultan Smalley, and I am an organizer with Sunrise Movement Philadelphia.

When we marched with Rep. Rabb earlier this year at Philadelphia’s Peoplehood Parade, I felt proud to stand alongside someone who has spent his career fighting back against corporate powers and for working people.

This race matters a lot. This race is an opportunity to send a proven climate champion to Congress at a moment when corporate polluters and fossil fuel executives are doing everything they can to block climate progress. 

As a founder and leader of the Pennsylvania House Climate Caucus, Rep. Rabb has authored more than 100 bills and resolutions to expand renewable energy, hold corporate polluters accountable, and protect communities most harmed by pollution and systemic inequality.

Sunrise organizers will be mobilizing young people across Philadelphia to elect Chris Rabb, a climate champion with a record of taking on fossil fuel corporations and standing with working people. Our endorsement is just the beginning. Now we need resources to build the organizing power to win.
