Update: Thousands of you have signed my petition calling for Pete Hegseth’s resignation.
If you haven’t yet, add your name now — Hegseth is unfit to serve, and he should resign.
This isn’t about partisan differences or ideological disagreements (no matter how disgusting and problematic his beliefs are). This is about national security and protecting the brave people who volunteer to serve our country.
Pete Hegseth put American service members in harm's way by breaking protocol and recklessly sharing sensitive operational details on Signal, an unclassified messaging app that could have easily been hacked.
He endangered our troops — you know it, I know it, and even the Pentagon’s independent watchdog knows it.
If Pete Hegseth stays in his position, we can expect more bad judgment calls and unforgivable mistakes, and we create more openings for our adversaries to exploit and endanger our troops.
Sign my petition now to demand Pete Hegseth’s resignation.
