At every turn, when the Trump administration has tried to undermine Marylanders’ rights, strip critical funding, or silence vulnerable communities, Attorney General Anthony Brown has stepped in.

Here are just a few of the major victories your support made possible:

✅ We protected $110 million in federal education funding to support after-school and summer learning programs, teacher preparation, English learner support, and adult education.

✅ We blocked the Trump administration from defunding Planned Parenthood and other essential health centers, keeping cancer screenings, STI testing, birth control, and preventative care available for thousands of Marylanders.

✅ We safeguarded legal services for sexual assault and domestic violence survivors, ensuring that the DOJ couldn’t deny help to survivors who couldn’t prove immigration status or revoke funding for survivors that’s already been awarded.

✅ We stopped the Trump administration from illegally terminating $11 billion in HHS public health grants, including $200 million designated for Maryland’s disease prevention, vaccination efforts, and addiction & mental health programs.

Each of these victories protects Marylanders, and each one proves that when we stand up to federal overreach, we win.
