John,
This is breaking news. First Assistant US Attorney Joe Thompson says $18 billion has been paid out in 14 programs flagged as high-risk for fraud in Minnesota since 2018. This is staggering - and one of the reasons why I'm dead set on expanding the State Auditor's Office to tackle this ever-increasing problem.
But beyond that, and to add insult to injury, the DFL didn't even do its basic job as defined by the legislature. As just one example: Hennepin County awarded a $1 million grant and somehow actually spent $27 million on it. Click the video and I'll explain:

Other candidates would have you believe that this race doesn't matter. That the auditor does nothing. Well, as the video outlines above... not only do we need to expand this office - but just like Tim Walz himself, the current Auditor was asleep at the wheel. Even when whistleblowers came forward.
We're going to tackle this fraud.
We're going to use this office to expose it at every level.
And we're going to get Minnesota back on track in 2026.
If you can spare a couple bucks today to help in that mission, I'd love your help.

Republican Candidate for MN State Auditor
