I believe that healthcare is a basic human right. It is wrong when families in Ohio have to choose between buying life-saving medicine and paying their rent. Too many of our neighbors can’t get good healthcare because of where they live, how much money they make, or a pre-existing health condition they have.
This is not okay. That’s why I am fighting every day in the Ohio State Senate to expand healthcare coverage, lower the cost of prescription drugs, and make sure everyone can get the care they need. Our healthcare system should put people first — not profits.
But powerful groups that make money from the current system are spending millions of dollars to block change. To win this fight, we need your support to organize volunteers and pass real reforms.
