These types of elections always fly under the media's radar, John, but in 2026, 26 Secretary of State races will shape the future of our elections, redistricting in 2030, and the outcome of the 2028 presidential race.
Opponents of voting rights already know this, which is why they’re already pouring money into these elections – and we have to fight back now, while it still makes a difference. Check out this map:

The work to increase voter participation and turnout for these races has to start now, not next summer. We have to build the infrastructure to defend pro-voter initiatives in Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Nevada, at the same time as we work to flip the script in key battleground states like Georgia, Ohio, and Iowa.
John: None of it happens without your support. Fuel our work for next year's elections with $25 or whatever you can today >> [[link removed]]

Opponents of voting rights have been working on these objectives for years. They've targeted state legislatures and key statewide offices to control the rules around voting and that's why they've been in a position to follow up on the "Big Lie" with bill after bill suppressing the vote. They've played the long game to pick and choose their voters and protect their own power.
Most people don't know that their Secretary of State is the state official who runs their elections, let alone who the current office-holder in their state is. But they are the last line of defense against voter suppression and diminished ballot access , which is why we need to invest in voter information, registration, and participation in these critical races.
2025 has been a tough year but we're not backing down. Our right to vote is too important and too much is at stake for our democracy, our fellow Americans, and the direction of our country. Driving pro-voting rights voters to the polls in 2026 is the best possible response to all that we've been forced to live through the last decade.
Your gift -- $5, $10, $25, or more -- helps provide the resources we need to keep voters apprised of what is at stake and get them out to vote for pro-democracy policies. Please, chip in what you can today! >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
