Y'all -- Sen. Cornyn is one of the top recipients of NRA money in Texas, and it's obvious why.

He proudly boasts about his "perfect A+" rating from the NRA on his Senate website, and over his nearly 20 years in Washington, he's opposed every meaningful effort to improve gun safety, no matter how popular.

- Universal background checks? He opposes them.
- "Red flag" laws? He opposes them.
- Stopping domestic abusers getting guns? He opposes that, too.

Even after multiple mass shootings in our own state, Sen. Cornyn has refused to act to pass even the most widely popular, bipartisan solutions. He even cashed a check from them just weeks after the El Paso shooting, before refusing yet again to take action on universal background checks.

MJ won't cower before the NRA. She's been endorsed by Giffords, Brady PAC, Everytown for Gun Safety, and Moms Demand Action because she's a responsible gun owner and veteran who knows we can do so much more to keep our communities safe.
