John, my faith is the foundation upon which I have built my life. It guides my service to my community and my country.

That’s why, when I went on Meet the Press this past weekend, I spoke about how scripture could offer us inspiration and comfort during this spiritually heavy moment.

Well, apparently Donald Trump was tuning in – and he didn’t care much for that message. He just took to Truth Social to post an unhinged rant attacking me for what I had to say:

Look, this isn’t the first time Trump has attacked me. I’m sure it won’t be the last either. But I can promise you this: I am not going to be bullied or intimidated.

Because right now, everyday folks are bearing the brunt of Trump’s reckless and dangerous agenda. So, as my faith calls me to do, I will continue using every lever of power I have to fight back against Trump and put a stop to the harm he’s inflicting on the American people.
