John,
When we talk about building resilience across the redwood range, we’re not just talking about trees. We’re talking about people—the communities, partners, and traditions that sustain these forests for generations.
INVEST IN REDWOOD RESILIENCE TODAY [[link removed]]
Your matched gift [[link removed]] to the Redwood Resilience Fund helps Save the Redwoods League:
* Partner with tribes in the Sierra Nevada , who are reviving burning practices that restore natural balance to the sequoia groves.
* Build community resilience through education programs that bring thousands of young people to the redwood forests each year and offer transportation for underrepresented community groups who might otherwise never experience these forests.
* Create and enhance parks across California. Since its founding, Save the Redwoods has helped create 68 parks across California. Today, we’re actively supporting and enhancing these spectacular places for the future.
I was first drawn to join Save the Redwoods because of my passion for creating spaces and opportunities for communities to feel connected to the outdoors and overcome legacies of exclusion. That’s why I’m so excited about the work we’re undertaking right now, including building an outdoor classroom in Alder Creek and continuing to grow our Redwood Rides program, which provides free field trips that meaningfully connect students to the forest.
If you’ve never given before, this is the perfect moment to begin. Your first gift will welcome people to the redwood forests and help more communities explore nature. Will you make a matched gift to the Redwood Resilience Fund today? Together, we can build a future where forests and communities flourish. [[link removed]]
When you give to the Redwood Resilience Fund, you’re not only building more resilient forests, you’re building more resilient communities.
