Hi there,

I wanted to reach out about the bipartisan work I’m doing to extend the ACA premium tax credit and save Americans on the cost of their health care.

I’m excited to report that, as of yesterday morning, enough Democrats and Republicans have taken action to force a vote on the Democratic plan to extend the ACA premium tax credits for three more years. This will save much needed money for millions of Americans, at a time when the cost of living is already too high.  

I have been pushing for this—both behind the scenes and publicly. We had to do this for our constituents and I’m hopeful the Senate will agree. As I recently told independent journalist Aaron Parnas, Democrats and Republicans are working together to get a vote on this, even as the Speaker refused to hold one. 

I’m grateful for my colleagues in the Problem Solvers Caucus who have worked to get this done. But we have more to do. We need to pass this extension into law to get the American people the relief they need.
