I joined Citizens’ Impeachment because the Constitution is not self-enforcing. Democracy does not survive on autopilot. It survives only when people are willing to defend it.
Citizens’ Impeachment has one clear mission - to impeach, convict, and remove Donald Trump from office for violations of his oath and conduct fundamentally incompatible with a free republic.
This effort is grounded in formal Articles of Impeachment, including Article I - Tyranny and Article II - Treason.

Article I documents a sustained attempt to place personal power above the Constitution - attacking free and fair elections, intimidating political opponents, undermining the courts, threatening Congress, violating civil liberties, and rejecting the separation of powers that protects the American people from authoritarian rule.
Article II addresses something even more grave - the deliberate use of military and federal power against the American people themselves. It details how Trump and his Secretary of Defense declared a so-called “war from within,” treating American cities, political opposition, and lawful protest as enemies of the state.
That includes illegal federalization of the National Guard over governors’ objections, defiance of court orders, threats against states, and efforts to turn the military against civilians - actions the Constitution explicitly defines as levying war against the United States.
These are not policy disagreements.
They are constitutional red lines.
Yet many elected Democratic leaders now claim Trump has committed no impeachable offenses in his second term. That refusal to act is exactly why we need a new Congress and a new generation of leadership - Democrats who will confront fascism instead of normalizing it.
Impeachment is not partisan. It is the constitutional remedy the Framers gave us to stop tyranny and treason before they become permanent. Refusing to use it is not unity - it is abdication.
Citizens’ Impeachment is a grassroots, nonpartisan movement grounded in a simple truth - no president, no official, and no oligarch is above the law.
As a candidate for Congress, I am making this commitment publicly -
If elected, I will introduce Articles of Impeachment, uphold the rule of law, and work to remove Donald Trump from office and bar him from holding power again.
This is not left versus right.
It is democracy versus authoritarianism.
The Constitution versus unchecked power.
