When I joined the Navy in 2015, they had a slogan that reflected peace achieved not by threats, violence, and death, but through real strength: “A Global Force for Good.”

I truly believe that the United States, and particularly the U.S. Navy is, and has been, a “global force for good.” 

But right now, dangerous right wing extremists are turning that slogan on its head. Donald Trump and so-called Secretary of “War” Pete Hegseth are making America look weak by killing noncombatants, blowing up fishing boats allegedly running drugs in international waters, and threatening Venezuela with top-down regime change. 

All of this is being done behind the smokescreen of disrupting the flow of illicit drugs. But the real reason is much more sinister, and corrupt: Venezuela is sitting on billions of dollars worth of oil reserves and the Trump Administration wants to seize it.

We’ve seen this movie before, and it ends badly.

We need leaders who will not cater to warmongers and fringe right wing conspiracies that fuel the lies and disinformation that can lead our nation to war.

That’s why I am running to defeat MAGA Rep. Paul Gosar, one of the most dangerous right wing politicians in the country. 

Paul Gosar will rubber-stamp whatever Trump and Hegseth ask of him—including an open-ended military conflict in Venezuela. I need your help to defeat him this election.
