It sure is nice to be on the road again. While campaigning in person has been a bit different in the COVID era (lots of masks, hand sanitizer, and social distancing!) the energy, support, and warmth I’ve received is going to carry us through the final stretch.

This weekend, we made 40 stops. Yes, 40.

From talking about offshore wind in Buzzards Bay at Mass Maritime Academy to touring small businesses in Salem, Reading, Hyannis, and Worcester — all in 100-degree heat — it’s clear that Massachusetts is ready to get back on its feet and build a better future, with federal partners by their side who will show up and fight.

Everyone I’ve talked to understands that we can’t just go back to “normal”. It’s time to move past leaders who protect and maintain the status quo. That’s why I'm running for Senate. And why I’m grateful that you are part of this team.

I got into this race because I know our best days are ahead of us.

I’ve run around this state and heard stories from people all across Massachusetts. Stories from small business owners that find a way every month to scrape by. Stories from teachers and child care providers that are educating our future generations during this challenging time. And stories from students who have gone through crisis after crisis, yet still have ambition and drive.

I believe in Massachusetts now more than ever. Because during those 40 stops, I saw the hope and conviction in people’s eyes. Even though we may be going through hard times right now, better days are ahead of us.

I am in this race because I believe in the future of Massachusetts. I am ready to fight by your side for all of us. But I can’t do it without you. Every campaign is only as strong as its volunteers and supporters, and that’s why I’m counting on you.
