βTwas the strike before Christmas -- and we brought the picket line straight to Starbucks Headquarters. ππ§βπβ
Iβm a union Starbucks barista, elected bargaining delegate, and strike captain. Today, my coworkers and I are at corporate headquarters in Seattle -- and weβre preparing to camp here to demand a fair contract.
Today, more than 300 Starbucks stores and over 5,000 baristas are on strike in the largest unfair labor practice strike in the company's history. As baristas walk out across the country, the Red Cup Rebellion has come home -- right to Seattle HQ.

Nobody wants to strike, much less camp out at Starbucks corporate during the holidays -- but it's our last resort. Starbucks broke its promises, stalled bargaining, and left thousands of baristas with no choice.
Baristas are essential to Starbucks' turnaround. We know that -- and so do the bosses. That's why we're escalating now. From coast to coast, wherever Starbucks is, our picket lines will be there too until the company bargains in good faith, brings real wage proposals, and stops union busting.
And our movement is growing. We have won over 650 union elections -- and that number is growing every week.
We're sending bagels and solidarity to baristas camping out at Starbucks HQ. Add your name and message now >> [[link removed]]
We're united. We're organized. And we're not stopping until Starbucks stops union-busting and we win a fair contract with the pay, hours, staffing, and protections we deserve.
In solidarity,
