America's Next Generation of Leaders
Claremont continues its legacy of
training leaders across the republic
Dear Friend,
America rises or falls on the strength of its leaders. As we approach the end of 2025, the battles shaping our nation’s future—from border security to constitutional governance—demand men and women formed in courage, clarity, and conviction.
Thanks to your support, Claremont is training and deploying those leaders where they are needed most.
CONSTITUTIONAL SHERIFFS ON THE FRONT LINES
One of the clearest examples of this leadership emerged last month at our annual American Sheriff Dinner, where sheriffs from across the country gathered in a powerful display of unity and constitutional seriousness.
We honored Sheriff Michael Lewis of Wicomico County ([link removed] ) , Maryland, whose courageous stand against illegal immigration and trafficking reflects the very best of American law enforcement. Border Czar Tom Homan delivered keynote remarks, celebrating historic progress in securing the border, dismantling trafficking networks, and protecting vulnerable children.
These sheriffs are more than law enforcement officers. They are constitutional guardians, applying the Founders’ principles to defend their communities in real time, often under intense political pressure.

A FELLOWSHIP NETWORK SHAPING AMERICA’S FUTURE
Sheriffs represent one part of Claremont’s broader leadership pipeline.
Across the Publius, Lincoln, John Marshall, Speechwriters, and Sheriffs Fellowships, Claremont-trained alumni now serve throughout government, helping to restore ordered liberty where it has been eroded.
These men and women are shaping:
- Constitutional governance inside federal agencies
- Border and national security strategy
- Higher education and civil rights reform
- Executive branch policy and legislative priorities
- The intellectual and moral tone of the conservative movement
Leaders such as Michael Anton, shaping foreign policy at the State Department; Russ Vought, bringing constitutional accountability to the administrative state at OMB; Elliot Gaiser, bringing constitutional clarity to the Department of Justice; and James Braid, guiding legislative strategy at the White House, demonstrate the outsized impact of Claremont’s leadership pipeline.
Your support is shaping a rising generation of Claremont-trained leaders now serving at every level of government, prepared to meet the challenges of this pivotal moment.

PREPARING STATESMEN FOR AMERICA’S 250TH YEAR
As America approaches its 250th birthday in 2026, the demand for principled leadership will only grow. Claremont’s fellowship programs—intentionally small, selective, and rigorous—are designed to form the statesmen capable of guiding the country through this historic moment.
Your year-end gift strengthens this leadership pipeline and equips courageous, well-formed leaders to defend the principles of the Founding where they are most needed.
Will you stand with us before December 31 and ensure these leaders are prepared for the battles ahead? ([link removed] )
STRENGTHEN AMERICA’S CONSTITUTIONAL DEFENDERS
