Proudly Representing Texas' 12th Congressional District — December 18, 2025

Read time: 2 minutes

Dear Friend,

As the year comes to a close, I’m proud of how my team has served our community and delivered real results for Texans.

This year, I focused on policies that lower taxes, secure our borders, expand U.S. energy production, support our military, strengthen health care, repeal costly regulations, and reduce the cost of living.

One highlight was President Trump signing my bill to repeal burdensome regulations on commercial refrigerators commonly used in grocery stores, hospitals, and restaurants. I’m proud to have led this legislation, which supports small businesses and helps prevent higher grocery costs for Americans.

There is still much more to accomplish, and I look forward to continuing to serve our community in the New Year.

Wishing you and your loved ones a happy and healthy holiday season!

All my best,

2) Largest Tax Cuts in U.S. History

Image

Americans are overtaxed. As families struggle to pay bills or invest in their future, it is critical that Congress repeals burdensome tax policies. That’s why I voted to pass the Working Families Tax Cut, securing major tax relief for hardworking Americans.

  • Recent data from the Tax Foundation shows that the average taxpayer in Parker and Tarrant counties will see a tax cut of more than $3,700 next year.
  • Additionally, J.P. Morgan reports that taxpayers may receive the largest tax refund ever next year!
Working families will benefit because Republicans delivered the largest tax cuts in U.S. history. Ending taxes on tips and overtime, lowering tax rates, and increasing the child tax credit will significantly help families.

I’m proud to have helped deliver these policies to cut taxes for Texans, and I will continue fighting for taxpayers and working to lower the cost of living.

3) Reimbursing Texans $11.1 Billion

Image

During the previous four years, millions of illegal immigrants crossed our borders. But Republicans acted quickly to implement policies that secured our borders.

  • Recent data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection shows that apprehensions along the Southwest border are at their lowest level since 1970.
  • This is remarkable progress in protecting our communities from dangerous criminals and stopping the deadly flow of fentanyl across our borders.

Additionally, I recently joined many of my fellow Texas congressional members in calling on the Trump Administration to prioritize reimbursing Texas taxpayers $11.1 billion for border security under the Biden Administration's policies.

When the federal government failed to secure the Southern Border, Texans spent billions on state-led border security efforts. Now, Texans deserve to be paid back.
