John, I’m proud to go to work every single day on behalf of hardworking American families. And, John, I’m just as proud to know that my good friend and fellow Californian Gil Cisneros is working alongside me to bring real change to the folks in our community who need it most.
There’s no question in my mind what type of leader Gil is: He’s a fighter for his constituents and his constituents alone. He puts working families first, stands up for climate action, and works tirelessly to expand access to affordable health care for all. John, I’m humbled to work with someone as tenacious in his fight for his community as Gil. John, the election this November is a referendum on what true leadership looks like here in Southern California. It’s a reckoning moment on the issues that matter most: justice for all, equity in our communities, and upholding the tenets of democracy as we know it. And it’s imperative, this November, that we elect representatives who consistently stand up for what’s right.
