Wyoming Environmental Quality Council

Notice of Intent to Adopt Rules

The Wyoming Environmental Quality Council will consider proposed revisions to the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality Solid Waste Rule Chapter 7: Financial Assurance Requirements, Docket #25-5101, at a hearing to be held virtually on March 2, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m.

The revisions include updates to allow for an irrevocable letter of credit to be issued from a credit union in accordance with Wyoming Statute § 35-11-504 as amended during the 2025 Wyoming legislative session when the legislature passed House Bill No. 0041, Enrolled Act No. 7. The chapter meets the minimum substantive state statutory requirements per W.S. § 16-3-103(a)(i)(G).
