People love to remind me that Barack Obama once held my state senate seat. And every time, it hits sharp as a tap on the shoulder. Big name. Big legacy. Footsteps so loud they still echo down the halls.

So I’m running for Congress in IL-02 to honor that legacy and fight for our communities.
