We’ve seen this movie before. Republicans take power, the economy crashes, working people get crushed—and Democrats are left cleaning up the wreckage. Over and over and over again.
But here’s the truth we Democrats can’t ignore anymore: band-aid solutions aren’t enough.
We don’t just need Democrats who will take us back to the status quo. We need a new generation of Democrats who will finally fix what’s broken.
That means: Medicare for All, real affordable housing, student debt forgiveness, free college and vocation school, and breaking up monopolies that jack prices up and rig the economy against us.
That is what I will fight for in Congress.
