Jack,
Since 2021, more than 1,400 gray wolves have been killed in Idaho.
These wolves are pursued year-round. Pups are killed in their dens. Young
wolves are shot from helicopters. Once-protected animals are left in
steel-jawed traps.
That’s why we’re raising our voices and calling on Idaho Governor Brad Little
to stop this slaughter.
Add your name and help us end this cruelty today.

In Idaho, wolves have been found with crushed limbs and shattered teeth from
traps. Others have been run down by snowmachines or ATVs. Even new mothers can
be shot down without a care.
Even worse, these aren’t rare cases. This is exactly what Idaho’s current
rules encourage.
One report described how three pups were killed last April, all likely less
than a month old, probably yet to even open their eyes.
These hunts would never be allowed for deer, elk, mountain lions or any other
game species. That’s because they have protections that Idaho simply doesn’t
give to its wolves.
On private land, trapping can occur nearly year-round. Hunters are allowed to
pursue wolves using vehicles, and there’s no meaningful limit on how many
wolves a single person can kill in a season.
All these rules would be unimaginable in other states and with other species.
That’s why we’re raising our voices and calling for an end to this slaughter.
Add your name and urge Gov. Little to put a stop to these cruel wolf hunts.
