John -- Unemployment benefits are set to run out in a matter of weeks. Millions of Americans are on the brink of losing their homes. We are almost at an unspeakable 150,000 deaths from COVID-19. Now, the Trump Administration is openly threatening to send unmarked federal police forces into cities across the country. We are a country in crisis.

And what is Congress doing? They took a two week recess, and are just coming back today. Congress must understand that we deserve immediate action.

Imagine taking two weeks off during a crisis at your job! BNC supports candidates AND we work to hold Congress accountable. We give progressive voters choices for change, and they show up to the polls, because that is the only way to bring change -- one vote at a time. Each vote cast against an incompetent incumbent tells them, “We see you. You aren't doing enough, and we can replace you.”

There are now SEVEN BNC candidates heading to the general election in November and there are still ten more candidates facing primaries in August and September.

Just today Trump signaled he’s ready to send more unmarked federal agents from the DHS, ICE and CBP into more “Democratic” cities, including Philadelphia, New York and Chicago. Several state Attorneys General are gearing up to challenge this Administration’s abhorrent authoritarian overreach. They need backing from Congress NOW.

Our systems aren’t broken, they’ve been designed this way. They've been designed to marginalize and undermine the majority while benefiting the wealthy few. They’ve been built on racism, misogyny and colonialism. We have an opportunity to break from this cycle, but it’s going to take all of us.

Let’s get to work.
