Over the last few weeks, I have shared updates on my efforts to protect Washingtonians from harm. This includes standing up to President Trump’s unlawful actions.

We have been so focused on our work that we haven’t had much time to talk to you about my opponents’ plans.

All of my opponents are partisan conservatives. Here are just two quick examples:

They sure seem to like Donald Trump! For example, one opponent said “I love what he’s doing… He’s getting stuff done. I love it. It’s nice to see a President not care.”

A second opponent, who is leading the Republican field, said "Assuming for the moment that there actually is a systemic problem of racist cops killing black people (and I don’t believe there is), who would be to blame for that? ... Democrats."

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

These are not the people you want in charge of the Attorney General’s office. They are too partisan. And if they are not willing to stand up to President Trump, how will they stand up for you?
