In the past 48 hours, Trump danced on the grave of director Rob Reiner, who was tragically murdered alongside his wife by their own son, implying he died because of his “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Then, he turned the White House into a wall of petty grievances, installing plaques under portraits of Joe Biden and Barack Obama filled with unhinged insults.

But it’s not just the rants, it’s the consequences. Yesterday, Trump announced a naval blockade of Venezuela based on completely false and incomprehensible lies. He is walking toward a bloody, unnecessary war because his mind is unspooling.

The only check on Trump’s insanity is Congress. Because of his reckless behavior and gross lack of critical thinking skills, healthcare premiums are about to skyrocket almost 80%. We need leaders who will restore the legislative branch, hold this administration accountable for its crimes, and block a madman from dragging us into a global conflict.
