Our nation is in the middle of a healthcare crisis — and it is set to get even worse.

For months, Republicans have refused to take meaningful action to protect America’s healthcare system or provide certainty to families bracing for steep price increases.

Starting on January 1, millions of Americans will face unaffordable premiums. In California alone, an estimated 2.3 million people will see their health care costs soar, forcing far too many to forgo coverage entirely.

Trump and Congressional Republicans are asleep at the wheel as this affordability crisis grows. Families cannot wait. We need to extend these subsidies now and work toward durable reforms of our health care system to make sure every American has access to affordable, quality health care.
