Hello,

In a tremendous act of defiance, Indiana’s lawmakers rejected Donald Trump’s
aggressive push to redraw their state’s map ahead of next year’s midterm
elections.

Despite the pressure to tip the scale in Republicans’ favor, Indiana lawmakers
put our country and democracy ahead of partisanship. This is a huge victory for
the voting rights movement and signals a turning point in the redistricting
battle.

More and more states are rejecting one-party rule and attempts to take power
away from voters. Every step forward is proof that our work is paying off. But
this fight isn’t over yet.

At VRF, we’re gearing up for a defining midterm election year, and we need all
hands on deck to elect pro-democracy champions at every level of government.
Will you give $10 or more to join our fight for equal representation and fair
maps?

Thanks for being part of our fight to protect the vote.

— Voting Rights Fund

Voting Rights Fund wasn’t created just to defend voting rights — we elect the
leaders who will expand and protect them. Our aim is to keep our operational
costs as low as possible, so a majority of our funds go toward doing the work
that needs to be done. That means building a national bench of lawmakers who
will fight tooth and nail to expand access to the ballot box and protect our
right to vote at every level of government.
