Speaker Johnson has refused to call a vote to extend Affordable Care Act subsidies and stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing. But Democrats are fighting back, and our discharge petition to extend these tax credits for three years has forced a vote on the House floor.

In their continued attempts to block us from protecting healthcare, the priorities of Trump and Republican leadership are laid bare. They want to make life in America harder and more expensive for us all.

So far, they've gotten what they've wanted. Healthcare costs are up, grocery prices are increasing, and electricity rates are surging. But my Democratic colleagues and I are doing everything we can to fight back for working and middle-class families.
