Hi there,
Vice President Vance just said that stopping immigration is the key to fighting antisemitism.
Let’s be absolutely clear: JD Vance doesn’t speak for American Jews. He doesn’t even understand us.
Antisemitism and extremism are real and rising – this past weekend made that painfully clear. But exploiting genuine fear to advance an authoritarian political agenda is not only wrong – it’s deeply dangerous.
We know that all too well – our own families sought refuge in this country to make a better life for their children. We found that refuge not despite America’s pluralistic, diverse, liberal democracy – but because of it.
Antisemitism thrives on conspiracies, scapegoating and demonizing others. Pitting communities against one another has never made Jews safer.
That’s why we’re speaking out now.
So, can I count on you to stand up and say that weaponizing antisemitism to attack immigrants is unacceptable – and that we refuse to let our community be used in this way?

The Jewish community deserves better. We all deserve better. Silence is not an option when our fears are manipulated for political gain.
Our values demand that we fight antisemitism and extremism wherever they rear their ugly heads – without abandoning our commitment to dignity, equality and justice for everyone.
Thank you, sincerely, for standing with us!
