As the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Fauci has been the trusted expert and conscientious leader. But of course, Dr. Fauci's earnest leadership has threatened Trump's ego, which is why the White House is now actively undermining Dr. Fauci's reputation in a blatant attempt to discredit his scientifically-sound recommendations.

The truth is that without leadership from the White House, the American people need and depend on the guidance of experts like Dr. Fauci to survive this crisis.
